The Origin
Built from nothing
but herself.
Anna Unger was born in Ukraine into a modest family. At 18, she made a decision that would define everything that followed: she left home, became fully independent, and never looked back.
She won art competitions in childhood, studied at art school for 7 years, modeled in Korea, China and Singapore at 19, and by 20 had moved from Ukraine to Moscow — supporting herself financially while simultaneously studying at two universities and working as a senior interior designer.
At 25, she moved to London to study at the University of the Arts London — London College of Fashion, accepted directly into the second year. She launched her own fashion line, showed collections in London, Paris, and Moscow, and won Best Young Designer at the Dubai Fashion Fiesta in 2009.
In parallel, she worked as a graphic designer at Ukrainian Media Holding — the publisher of Vogue and Forbes Ukraine — and designed luxury residences across Dubai, Moscow, and London. She exhibited her paintings internationally, eventually becoming a regular presence at Art Basel Miami Beach for over a decade.
She has since competed and placed at international beauty pageants, raised four daughters, become a certified freediver, and at 41 founded Desigfy — a technology company born from a lifetime of understanding how spaces shape human experience.
"Everything I've built, I've built by myself — and everything I build now, I build so others don't have to start from zero."
